Filipa Dantas Rodrigues holds a degree in Basic Education, 1st Cycle, from the Paula Frassinetti School of Education in Porto; she specializes in Special Education: Cognitive-Motor Domain; has a postgraduate degree in School Management and Administration; and a master's degree in Portuguese as a Non-Native Language, focusing on Language Policies and Linguistic Planning for Portuguese as a Heritage Language. She furthered her academic training with the Teacher Training course for Portuguese as a Pluricentric Language in Brazil.
Her professional experience as a teacher includes practical realities as diverse as Portugal, Timor-Leste, and the United States, enriched by the authorship and co-authorship of textbooks for Timor-Leste and Angola. In this context, she also performed the functions of reviewing didactic materials, managing linguistic services, and pedagogical coordination.
Filipa Dantas Rodrigues is also the author of the book Socorro! 1500 coisas para fazer (Help! 1500 things to do), published in Portugal and also in the United States of America, in an English version and a bilingual edition, present in 14 countries.
