Here's the thing, don't feel sorry for me

"Don't pity me" is a very intense love story that seems like obstinacy, but is, in fact, a cross-destiny between two young people, Tanatsha and Mateus Andreas, from completely different worlds, both victims of their own context. Tanatsha, who had just started using drugs under the influence of her close friend, Greg, one day, along with her other friends, while wandering somewhere in Ingombotas, Luanda, consuming drugs, invades Mateus Andreas' refuge, who is attacked and assaulted by them. She is the only one to stop this aggression and, from then on, not only realizes that she is on the wrong path, with bad company, but also, incredibly, develops a loving affection for Mateus Andreas. The romance between the two challenges all expectations and romantic balances usually standardized in society and raises some social, politically relevant and transversal questions.
