To some extent, disinterest and indifference reign. Coupled with a profound exasperation
which, on most occasions, does not meet the requirements to be so, writing breaks with detachment
and turns it into an obsession. At this point, interest, imbued with the spirit of Carnival,
masquerades as its antagonist.
The author calls this feuilleton nonsense. Readers, in due course, will draw the appropriate
conclusions, although it should not deviate much from this concept. The compilation gathers the chronicles of the
section “I am disinterested to some extent”, published in Jornal Referência.
