Ten years after being convicted of his friend's murder, Lúcio finally decides to write his version of events. It all begins in Paris, where he meets Ricardo de Loureiro. An intense friendship develops between the two, which is interrupted when Ricardo returns to Lisbon. A year later, they meet again, and Lúcio gets to know Marta, his friend's wife.
In a triangle where desire, jealousy, and identity intertwine, reality soon becomes blurred. Until that night arrives. What really happened? Who killed Ricardo de Loureiro? Is Lúcio guilty, or merely a witness to something that defies logic?
